wiring harness
I read a thread on here a little while ago about a guy who makes wiring harnesses. I've tried contacting him through here to get one. Does anyone know if he still makes them?
I'm getting my machine tore down and parts ordered. It's been a pretty fun project so far! Just wish I had more time to work on it. |

Tear Down Pictures
Here are a few more pictures. I pulled the engine and have the dash and console tore down. I'm slowly getting the double sticks loose. Hopefully they come apart.

Help!
Can anyone out there give me some advice on how to get these parts out. I've included a picture. One is the break/hydraulic neutral pedal and the other is the shaft for the deck lift. I did finally get the roll pins out. I just don't want to take a hammer to them and make marks every where. I need to get them out of the frame.

Why do you need to remove them??
More trouble than what it's worth to do that unless one or more is damaged some way or you are determined to replace the bushings. Sandblaster will clean them up good enough for painting. My guess is you will need some sort of press setup or lots and lots of heat and a BFH |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
