Default QL muffler brace

Does anyone have the measurements for the QL muffler brace?
I would like to make one for my 1650.
Thanks

When I made mine I just figured it out by trial and error. Don't trim it to the final length or drill the holes until you get the bends correct, and the second hole you drill will probably need to be slotted or oversize.

OK, thanks Matt. I was hoping you would jump in because I thought you wrote something or had a picture, and I was darn sure you would'nt buy one.
I bent one close today out of aluminum, to use as a template, I see where the slotted hole would be helpful.

There is a "boss" in the casting of the block, in the front, that is drilled and tapped. IIRC, it is 5/16"-18. Then this bracket goes up to the Q/L Muffler bracket to add support. Works great.

Thank you. Neither the 1210 or the 1450 have that. and that Mounting plate at the engine is damaged on both. I have some more work to do.

That piece across the front of the engine(plate if you will) is just aluminum, right??

I was thinking of making a bracket to go from the two bolts at the top(you can just see them in that pic) extended out over the muffler. Then place a strap around the muffler attached to the brace.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
