I thought that was near Painesville up there. I used to pick up salt at mortan alot. Well If your gonna come down to see Rich at Patton acres then you have to stop by and see Mike and me. I live about 15 mins. north of Rich. I'll be headed down to see Rich this week sometime. I have a couple 82 series here with the 12hp in them, and their my favorite. If you need any help on them look me up.

Yea, I found an old Mack hood ornament and installed it. I removed the factory plastic trim piece and used one of the factory holes to mount the bulldog, then put a nut/bolt to fill the second factory hole.

Default Many thanks

As mentioned earlier-this is a great website.
i finished mowing today and was heading towards the garage the tractor stopped-no forward or reverse. i pushed it the last 100yds to the garage and started browsing the site within minutes.
3 hours later a new pin is installed on the engine side of the shaft and she's back...
Thanks again for all the post with all the right answers.
Chris

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
