Default Southeast Old Threshers Reunion. June 30th-July4th Denton NC

Just like the title says, its time to load up and head to Denton for the best week of the year. This is the mecca of all tractor shows in the southeast and people from every state visit each year. Its well worth your trip out there with plenty of tractors to look at, garden tractors to buy, parts to swap on, trains to ride on, music to listen to and of course the food vendors.

I go each and every year and camp all 5 days. We'll actually be there 7 days this year. The Friday before the show starts, they are having a 25 mile tractor ride and Ill be participating in it as well.

Its great fun to see all the other members on here that come each year. I know ive seen Joe, Adam, and Allen and Jenn there. I think Vince is coming this year and ive been trying to talk Duke into coming but he seems to like his A/C better at home. Cant blame ya Duke. Its hot there no doubt!

Hope to see some others there.

Heres the website... http://www.farmpark.com/seot.html

I actually helped restore that little orange mower in the 3rd pic.

Earl, the tractor ride starts at 9:30am on Friday the 29th of June. Its leaving the farmpark and headed on some pre-determined route through 3 different counties. Not sure where we will end up. I know the ride costs $20 but that gets you a shirt and a BBQ lunch. I also dont think garden tractors will be allowed as they are too slow.

They also have a "Parade of Power" every day during the show and Im pretty sure it starts at 4pm. Im usually in it every day as well.

Thats awfully nice of you to offer your camper. I think we're all covered but Ill certainly keep it in mind. I camp with my best friend in his camper but hes getting married soon so next year, Ill have to buy my own. Keep your ears peeled for a good deal for me. Thanks!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
