That's a nice looking tractor; good luck with the sale. Wonder if there is a Old Tractor net on one of the bands.

I understand that. Went to a sale the other day and the guy had a Collins amp that was over feet tall. no model number. he wasn't a ham and didn't know anything about the tons of equipment he had. I had to be upfront with him. they had been cutting up several log periodic beams for scarp metal and stripping heliac for scrap. very sad,
Tnx and 73.

Top Blue Book is $1,250 I hope you didn't pay too much for it at the SALE or if you did, that you like it real well! Well enough to keep it and stick around here at OCC and talk to all of us from time to time! Nice to have you!!!

I relisted it for 1300 a few days ago and have a couple of interested people.
I will keep you updated, I do like the machine and dont have an issue with keeping it. we have a little farm here so with the right attachments I know I can put it to use.

Ultimately, anything is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. I've seen some things that I thought were worthless sell for a lot of money and other things that I thought were quite valuable bring very little. These fine tractors are worth more as parts than together....kind of odd, but the sad truth. I bought my 782 hitch off e-bay for $92 and a week later one sold for $170.....go figure! I wouldn't go less than $800-$850 for the tractor alone without the rear hitch and attachment. The $1000 mark sounds very fair for the package. Good luck on your sale! Oh, we do have a "FOR SALE" section in our forum if you would like to list that on this site.....you never know!

Most of us would be proud to own that wonderful piece of equipment.....just don't understand why you want to part with it...

Welcome to our site!

The bucket was included with the tractor. I also got a peco grass catcher with it that is powered. also got a disc but not all the parts to attach it to the three point hitch in the back. While I would like to keep it there are other things I would rather have. one guy was interested in trading a 18ft trailer for it which I could use more.
I buy and sell some stuff at estate sales from time to time as a side hobby.
I did get it for a song and a dance which makes it harder to get rid of. when its all said and done I will reveal what I paid for it. dont want to upset amyone ahead of time.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
