3000 series 3 Point Hitch Project
Can anyone tell me the length and width of the lift arms for the 3000 series?
After some frustration of trying to acquire one of these, I think I've decided to try and fabricate one. May need some help and advice along the way but I'm hoping to be able to make one. I'm looking at purchasing a 3 point hitch assembly off of eBay for a kubota b series and fabricating the parts to work. |

I am talking to a person on Monday that has a hitch assembly available. If we can't strike a deal, I'm green lighting this project.

No, go to xmw and buy the gt 3pt arms and adjustable lift links. The BX is cat 1, you will be very disappointed with your purchase if you go that route.

I'm glad I know about this site and will seriously consider ordering the parts I need from here rather than the kit off eBay. My biggest concern is the hydraulics. I'm afraid by the time I get all the components I need, lift valve, levers, lines, etc., I'll be in to it as much as just buying the assembly off of someone. I'm supposed to contact a guy named Scott tomorrow about a hitch assembly. I heard he's pretty popular on these forums/ social media for tractor parts.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
