Hello,
After a few weeks of looking at this forum I decided it was best to join and become active in it. The other week, I picked up my first cub cadet; an 1810 that I got at a family friend’s estate sale (for a whopping $25!). I couldn’t even hesitate with the price as my grandfather, who owns a service station, had been servicing the mower since new and even I can remember servicing it before the friends health started declining. After bringing it home and a little gas and carb cleaner it fired right up and runs smooth as a song. I have heard of people converting the 1810’s to 1811’s or 1812’s so that may be the direction I lead it, depending on the workload that involves. Look forward to meeting everyone and gaining more knowledge in the cub cadets!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens.
