42" high vac deck and 1450
Looking at finding a 42" high vac deck from a 1440 to install on my 1450. Want to put the bagger back on said 1450, but it does not have enough power to run the 46" high vac deck properly. Anyone have experience with this?

I've never owned a 1450 however my 1211 has a GT46 and it seems to have plenty of power. I bag with it quite often even in high grass. I move at a decent pace. Not slow or fast but comfortable.

Did you change your pulleys at all? Kinda wondering if I have an engine issue then. It seems the deck does not have the "howl" like when i have the same deck on my 1864

Found it.. here is what I found when Alvy asked
Hey Alvy, Sorry for the delay.. Was dark this morning when I left for work. Ok. So outside diameters of pulleys. The PTO is 4.5" and the drive pulley on deck is 5.5" I use .5" wide belt on it. If memory serves its 101" My deck is a 336-190 deck if that helps

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
