Default Picked up a 73 and a bonus

I went on a road trip today to get 3 cadets I found on Facebook. Only the 73 was pictured the other 2 were unknown. They wound up being a rough 109 that will probably be for parts. I was pleasantly surprised the third was a 107 in good shape.

The rough 109 has a rear lift and spring assist. The 107 looks to have a cigarette lighter.

That cigarette lighter is quite something, I haven't actually ever seen any with one. All the ones I've seen have it removed. 107 is and will always be my personal favorite, because apparently you become sentimentally attached after 3 years of work to get it going

You never know what you might find in a deal like that. Those seats look to be in good shape. You did well on your purchase.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
