Default Just bought another 129

This one was 20 min drive from me.. Running driving unit. Actually runs extremely well. Hydro feels great. Got it with one full functioning deck, and another shell but with a crate of all the parts needed to put together, Mule drive and some other extra parts.. Drove it onto truck. I think I got a lew deal besides

You should race your other 129 with this one.

Nice find coop, looks to be pretty clean and intact! Do you use ramps to get it into the truck? I’ve always had a hard time trusting my ramps perhaps they are too short. I don’t think I would try it with the cub, maybe I’m just chicken!

I hate to say this man.. LOL.. Don't come and find me to smack me tho.. This one is noticeably slower.. I do notice that top end is sort of close my other maybe a tad faster but now driving 2 different 129's what i find is that the original one just gets there a lot quicker. Like there less lag time or something and that's what I was really trying to elude to before.. Like it takes the front wheels off the ground much easier than this new one. A lot more torque in the 5-20% of the throw of the handle.

Actually, I have aluminum truck ramps. But when I got my 126 from the old German mans son he gave me his dads home made ramps. 2"x12" oak with 1/4 in steel plate bolted and bent at the top. He even made grooves in the wood for traction.. I think I like the wood better now.

Already had some fun! Thank you!

Ok.. so for all you folks that think a mouse house under the tins is a fallacy..
This is the second 129 in less than a month that has one. Not a big deal I will clean it out. I ran it just now "got a little overzealous" Got the deck on and wanted to see how it cut.. It cuts so beautifully.... Really gotta love the old engineering. About 30 min in I could smell the "burn" then heard the valves start clackin.. Shut it down and saw embers burning through the holes in the tins. BTW.. if this happens to you the first instinct may be to throw water on it.. Don't do it of course unless you see flames. You will crack something. Just let it cool off then clean it out. Anyway, Love this new addition and like I said. Going to look at another in a few min.. I think it has hydraulics and I saw something on the back. Maybe a cat o.. I will let yall know soon.

Yeah.... that's why most of us check things over good before running them.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
