Default Today's the day

In four hours I will be sitting down to sign papers for my new house, it's been a long road to get to where we are today. I've lived in a trailer all my life so this will be my first real house and my first time having steps, hopefully I don't fall down them to many times.. I'm excited for my boy's, they are both going to get nice big rooms and there is an extra room next to the living room which is where all their toys will be. They will get to go to the same schools which was something we really wanted, this house is one of the last houses in the corner of the school district and as close to work as we could get without switching schools. This house is only 3 miles from my current residence so I've passed it everyday on my way to work for the last 10yrs. I will be sure to post up some pics of the house and yard later.

Congrats Tim!
I had kinda the same move, I moved 1.25 miles out to the farm.
I hate moving so much that I kept the old house.

Ahhhh, nothing like a house that is soon on its way to becoming a "home"!!! A place where you can hang your hat and have that feeling that your hard work is worth all of the effort to plant your roots. Congratulations!!!! Soon, you will officially become a "home" boy. Let us know when the deal is done so we can come check out your crib and hang in your hood..

Happy "new beginnings" in your house Tim!!! Sounds like you did your homework before buying.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
