IH stuff is best. Nice pedals. I restored my 86 series pedal in '09.

Steve is correct! It is an IH 3444. My dad like to collect old toys and bicycles. This is an example of one of those toys. It is somewhat beat up and not valuable. It is in the cabinet with that other tractor only because of sentimental reasons.

This is an old Nylint crane from the early 70s. It was in terrible condition. I should have taken "before" pics but just have these. I disassembled the toy, sandblasted it and had it powder coated. Hope to get it reassembled soon. Pics or it didn't happen!

I had a crane really, really similar to that, if not the same one. Think it might still be at my parents' house.

I somehow missed this thread before.
Nice toy collection Beth! Mine are buried right now. Used to have them on display in my office at my shop. Now they are on the front porch. I'd like to get them back on display. I like all the little #1 carts. Those are cool! |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
