Where is best place to order tires
Hey all. Figured all the seasoned cub owners would know the best place to order tires. Lawn only for this ride cadet 2155
Good news. I found a set of fronts 15x6.00-6 for a good price. Rears on the other hand are not as inexpensive. 20x9.00-8 are way more cash.

If you're trying to save a buck, put tubes in your old leaky recaps if they still have tread on them.

Fronts are shot. Rears have a ton of cracks in sidewall. Look original. has cub cadet on the side walls. Its a 1999. Only paid a 100 bucks for it, runs great and deck is nice. Just want some nice tires.

I've never minded working with old, cracked tires. All the tires except the rear ag's on my Original have cracks in them, most of them still hold air anyway. As for the front ones, as stated above, tubes will work wonders. My JD 110 has a front tire that's practically splitting apart in one spot, but I put a tube in it and it works fine. Granted if you want it to look nice maybe new tires are the way to go, but I don't restore mine so I've never bothered

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
