Default 4x4 Cub Cadet

Hey guys,
I was thinking on starting a new tractor and making it 4 wheel drive. I was wondering how much work that would be and what are some options on driving the front axle.

Thanks,

Devin

Default working 4x4 front

hello there I am working on a front wheel driven axel for my 782's as i am designing it from scatch on cad with lots of back ground from others (green tractors)(red ones two) It lots like i can only get it to work with a hydro.
when i get a working unit on my tractor ( hopefully by spring) I'll post it.

I am going to have to say the red one is mostly Steiner. Without better pictures it looks like it is all Steiner but the hood. But it is still awsome looking.

Yes it is a Steiner. I bought a 48inch tiller from the builder of that rig. He was very cool and very crafty. He even designed the exhaust to sound like a Harley (thump thump). I felt like a kid in Santa's work shop.

Yes he is the one and the same. His 982 is currently on craigslist under iowa city. I do have more photos but I can't figure out how to load them. I have all my photos in my photo file in my computer but when i go to load one it asks for a URL address????? Help me figure this out and I will share the goods. I guess I could just e-mail them to you and have you post them as well. But I would really like to learn how.

Thanks
Josh

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
