New from Wisconsin with Questions
Greetings all from Green Bay Wisconsin!
I recently inherited a Cub Cadet! However I don't have access to it yet, all I have is the model and serial #. I know it's 2018 LT 42, but that's it. Can you help me determine more from the stickers, below. Specifically, Is it an XT1 or XT2?, an Enduro?, Stamped or fabricated deck?, Engine manufacturer and HP?, Transmission type? model 13A0A1CS010 serial 1l258H40386 (I don't know if the second character is - maybe a lower case L??) and model 19A30030100 serial 1D099J20352 (I think this a bagger) |

Welcome to OCC
As mentioned earlier, welcome. I'm new here as well, but a google search of the Model number sent me here:
https://www.cubcadet.com/en_US/prior...AOA1CS010.html Looks like an XT1, 42" Stamped deck, 18 HP Kohler, with a Hydrostatic Transmission. And you are correct, the second Model number is for the bagger assembly. Hope that helps. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
