Question LT1045 (2008) Blowing fuses

I have a 2008 cub cadet lt1045 with the SV600 motor that keeps blowing fuses. I've been trying to find the issue but have not had any luck and would just like to completely rewire it as the previous owner said the wires started on fire and he said it was still running, Its also been sitting outside for over a year after that and I believe this is the issue. Does anyone know where I can purchase all of the wiring and harnesses at?

You will need 925-04402A Wiring Harness.

Is the 925-04402A harness interchangeable with the 625-04094 rev 2 harness? I went to a local lawnmower place and they ordered and gave me this. The PTO replay and switch plugs are not the same.

Since they are different Part Numbers, it was safe to assume NO, they are not the same.

Roland gave you the part number that is listed for a 2008 LT1045, whoever sold you the other one gave you the wrong part.

Cub parts site. https://www.cubcadet.com/equipment/A...c-4057c176e095

Scroll to the bottom of the parts numbers.

I just bought an LTX1045 only because I needed the hydrostatic for my LTX1050. Don't know much about the 1045 specs as I was only interested in the transaxle. Was told it has a bad Kohler engine with low hours. I was able to turn it over. The flywheel housing is gone, so I'm assuming he told me correctly. I've only had this thing around since Saturday. Got my LTX1050 going now so the plan to strip it down and move it on out of here ASAP. I'll grab the wiring harness. If yours has the Kohler engine, my guess is it will work. Let me know! Edit message: Wanted to add that this 1045 has a manual PTO lever and not the electric clutch. As I said, not very familiar with the 1045 other than I knew it had same transaxle.....

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
