Plow attachment
So a friend of mine got a 102, with a snow blower and a snow plow blade,( I dont know if either were ever on this tractor) he called me and said he couldn't figure out how the blade mounted on the tractor, I said it should be pretty self explanatory but low and behold, its not.So first off his tractor does not have the quick connect set up like all my cubs do, this I didn't know, I had him bring the plow and bracket to my house to figure it out but when we tried to mount to my 104, it was 3/4" too narrow to fit the front end and the brackets didn't seem long enough to not interfere with the axle and steering linkage, Im thinking were missing a few brackets or something, or hes got the wrong assembly all together Can someone send me a photo of a plow assembly that would fit this tractor

There should be a bracket with three holes in it for each side, the end with two holes bolts to the outside of the plow frame and the other end bolts to the tractor.

How about you post a picture of what you have, and we can tell you if it's right, wrong, or been modified. That makes more sense to me.

There are different subframe configurations even within the narrow frame series. I had the same issues and ended up cutting off vertical arms and moved them from the inside and moved to the outside and rewelded. I think my subframe was originally for a 70/100 and I installed on my 73 after modifying. Tim is correct for additional bolt on extensions as well. Info is in the tech section look at page 10, bolt on vs qa

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
