another variable I didnt think of was that YES it was plowed and not tilled and there was alot of grass
Im still lovin the plow then till, I think maybe the disc will be good for turning the dirt in spring....not sure, lol. I reall want to put the manure in before it gets cold here plow and till it in and add water 2 or 3 times a month till spring hopefully it wont be to hot next spring, stil trying to figure it out1!! I plumed a drain in from the duck pond to the center of the garden, have an old jauzzi pump that sucks the algae and duck poo and disperses it to the garden!! gonna pick up all the leaves too this year, this year out here was terrible for a garden, the grass grew better than the veggis!

Hi guys , Your disc is not made to " dig " into the ground. It is made to bust up big dirt clods after you have plowed the ground.
You will have to add weight to your disc if you have hard clay . |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
