How do you plan on dealing with the rot?

I will cut it out and make panels to weld in, I have replacement quarter panels and rocker panels to install on it also.

I'll be patiently waiting to see it finished. I like those older Fords, although I think the 289 was a better engine.

The rot couldn't be in an easy area that's all flat could it buddy. Right in the areas where it always is, lots of bending and shaping to do. Looking good already in primer? How fast does bare metal rust in PA? I would think that it was not bad since the humidity isn't too high yet? Down here it's extremely quick.

the bodyshop sweats pretty bad in the summer so if bare metal was left in the shop for a few days it would begin to rust.

Boy your doing it right on the Crown Vic. When I did mine it was pretty much a shade tree restoration on a very limited budget. Was a very good project for me I learned a lot. I now have the tools the money and the time and the car is gone. I will be watching.
You going to paint it Cub Yellow and White? It would look sharp!
