Worth that in parts. Used PTO clutch brings back half the investment. If the motor is any good your in the black. Go for it!

Itsa peach! A diamond in the rough. That is not very much money for that cub at all. However, if storage room is a limiting factor, then I won't fault you at all since I'm in that same situation.

If I was needing some junk, I'd buy it in a heartbeat for a dead President.

If the mower deck isn't rusty, there's your money back and more. Not to mention what others have noted.

You have a quick steer axle there.

Looks like the right side grill might be repairable. Looks like the left side is pretty much toast. Hood is worth something. No side panels?

If that's an 1963, it's a Hydro Gear hydro. Not much value there.

Funny thing is Jay, that is about the only thing that might be worth something if it isn't blown or locked up.

I talked to him and may go look at it on Monday or Tuesday but I kinda hope it sells before then.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
