Missed a heck of a deal!!!
first off, hi guys, havent been around in a while, everythings good i hope. went to an estate auction last weekend and they had 2 O's and a 147, the two os were in rough shape and the 147 was wonderful. the 147 went for 650, too high i think. the two o's with a brinly cultivator and disc, three point hitch on one and enough parts to build three. that all went for 150. i know im crazy for not buying it but it looked like too much work. i did get a miller ac/dc arc welder that didnt work for 7 dollars, took it home and fixed the fan and it works like a top. so all in all it wasnt a bad day

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
