The Ruegg kit is an improved copy of the original SGT hitch.

The Xtreme is a copy of the GT hitch with a longer lift bar. Rear PTO was never an option on a GT so it doesn't have the hole & shield for the PTO.

The Ruegg setup looks a LOT different from the OE setup. I have not seen a good photo of it though.
But Ruegg no longer makes the CC kits?

Unless You Have a rear PTO No need to Bother with a Ruegg Kit(which My Understanding Bill No Longer Produces) and In today's day and age It Can be really hard to find 2000 RPM PTO equipment Befco does still make 2000RPM tillers The Market is so small Now for 2000RPM 3 Point equipment. I adapted The Xtreme Cat 0 he Make for the Super Garden tractors to Be a Limited Cat 1 3point thanks to some Help from Bill Ruegg. Have a Cat 1 3point Blade On it right now for winter and I can switch it right back to a Cat 0 if needed .

If You want to find a Garden tractor today for used with PTO Power equipment Look for a Used Simplicity Legacy XL or a Used Deere from the List Below

Its actually easier to Find an IH Number 2 or 2B or MTD 38inch tiller to adapt to a Standard Cub Cadet Garden tractor Than it can be to find 2000RPM 3 point Mounted equipment in Cat 0 to work On the Old Cub Cadet Supers. Oaks Been Pretty Lucky finding 2000RPM PTO equipment

Most of the time when You find a 2000RPM rear PTO for the Supers It come with a complete Cat 0 3point Hitch There In the $1,000 Plus Price Range right now. I would say go with the Xtreme Modified Cat 0 3 point for Now You Just remove 6 Bolts and 2 Pins and 1 Lift arm To change out the Xtreme for and OEM super Garden tractor 3 point Hitch when You find One. That way You Can use the Super for Non Powered PTO equipment Until You find a rear PTO

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
