Default Sweepster

After few years of searching for a sweepster, happy to have one. Found an 1812 to hook it up to and got it all together and crammed in its spot in the garage. Still need to finish hooking up the PTO linkage. Really nothing else I’m actively looking for or could even fit

Great find Rick! I have one just like that on my 129. They make leaf raking obsolete. You are really going to enjoy that. I have an E-lift on mine and I wondered if you had it on yours, as well.

Twoton, IHcubcadet147, thanks! Stan, that’s what I plan to use it on my driveway before I have it sealcoated in the spring, as far as yours........., we’ll see, haha. Lew, just rain here, no snow in forecast, changed at last minute. Cubcadet123, it has hydraulic lift. I only had one tractor with a dual spool which was the 982 but that already had the 450 on it which I didn’t feel like taking off, so had to get the 1812. I bet it does do a good job on leaves

Does a good job of flinging rocks off the grass back onto the driveway in the spring, (they fling like baby poop)

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
