Looking to add rear scrape blade to 1864
Hello and looking for suggestions on this topic . I have a 1864 with a 551 snow blower and am looking to add a rear scraper blade to be able to pull snow away from the front of the garage and retaining wall along my driveway . Right now I shovel it all away far enough that I can move it with the blower , But that stinks . Lol . I would like to mount the scraper blade so I can pull all the snow away from the walls and blow it without getting off the tractor . I was looking at Xtreme's sleeve hitch and 3 point setups . I see they have a scraper blade for use with there sleeve hitch and kind of like that setup . The only thing is the hydraulic lift is being used to lift the snow blower so I was thinking of electric lift maby for the rear ? Don't know if it's been done on here or if someone has a better suggestion . Thanks

I think Sam or somebody rigged up a sleeve hitch with a atv winch to lift it. Or you could do an electric actuator. I agree the single lift system is a hindrance at times!

Both! Just a 3 port ball valve to direct flow one way or another, i.e. main lift cylinder or 3point cylinders. Pretty slick if I do say myself. Just give the lever a quarter turn flip and you have full operation of either front/mid or rear mount equipment.
