Cub Cadet LT1045 (2008)
Having some issues with the cub cadet that was given to me, Girlfriends dad said it wouldn't start up and so I replaced the Carb, the fuel lines, new spark plug, Oil change, And some fresh gas and no luck. He then said it was backfiring before it went out, I noticed some wires were all burned and realized it went to the gas shut off on the carb. I looked it up and found out it should be the flywheel key which i replaced and now can't get it to run unless carb cleaner is sprayed in and even then it only runs for a few seconds and wont start until re-sprayed. I also checked for spark earlier and that seems to be fine. Any help would be great

Check to see that you have fuel flow from the tank to the fuel pump. Check the pulse line for cracks, kinks or other damage. If both of those are good you can get a cheap replacement pump off Amazon or ebay for around $10.
