Yep it was the spark plug! The rebuild kit came with an insta fire plug, guess it crapped out pretty fast. Replaced it with a champion plug and it runs once again!

Yeah.... I never use those cheap plugs. I just throw them away and put in the brand of my choice. (I'm also a Champion fan.)

When I rebuilt the k301 in my 122 I used the spark plug that came with the kit and it ran great for a few hours then started to act weird, after hours of trying to figure out what was wrong I put a new plug in and it was back to running perfect so now I just throw those plugs away. I also don't use the head gasket from the kit.
