yah, but you don't have to go into panic mode and run to the internet and ask how to fix sumthin either . ask the same questions over and over and don't do what anyone asks. you read, understand how whatever it is that needs repair. obviously not much of a mechanic. I couldn't see how he could work on his own cars . come on, a kohler/cub is 1000 times simpler than anything any manufacturer puts out today in the way of cars and trucks.

there is such a thing as diagnostic process regardless of what you work on whether its a car, truck computer or the crapper in your house

how did people fix stuff before the internet? I think there were books. and instead of asking questions on the net you read them and figured it out yourself

I have been known to read tech manuals while on the crapper or as I call it the library

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
