Default 1450 PTO won't engage

I just tried to go out and snowblow by driveway. When I got out there, my tractor wouldn't start so I swapped out the battery and put the battery charger on it to help jump the tractor.

I finally got it started but now the PTO won't engage. When I flip the switch, nothing happens. The belt doesn't go around, and it looks like the clutch isn't moving on the front of the engine.

I checked the fuses and they look fine.

It worked when I put the snoblower on it this fall.

What happened?

Assuming your Ignition Switch is OK, then check the following:
(A) 10A Fuse
(B) PTO Switch contacts between B & A
(C) Wiring and Quick Disconnect Plug at the PTO

Thanks for your help. The wiring diagram and a cool head were all I needed. Apparently the wire had fallen off of the bottom of the fuse. Reattached it and all is fine.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
