Randy,
Welcome to the site. Us Missouri guys need to stick together. Unfortunately I'm on the wrong side of Missouri from you and Keith.

Thanks T-mo, I know Keith and I would both like to come over to cubarama and for me I can't do it this year but I plan to come next year.

I would love it if we MO. guys could come up with a place to do some plowing together. The other plowdays are just too far away for me to attend.

I hear ya - it would be neat to have a plow event here in Missouri. I know some of the Missouri JD guys would want to go. I just need a plow for my 104 - and a rear hitch.

I'm going to try make Cubarama this year.

Randy sorry about your Dad. I lost mine last June. I have the cub 109 he bought new. Him and I spent a lot of time talking about that cub too.

Well, I picked up a 682 tonight that I found on craigs list. The wiring has issues and electric clutch is shot but is runs great but I only gave 300 bucks for it.

It was raining when I got it and is still in the trailer so I will get some pics up later.

Here are some pic of the 682 I picked up. It has a few issues but runs well and I can't complain for 300 bucks.

Randy,
It doesn't look bad at all. Nice find and I think that's a good price.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
