Cyclops hitch too low.
I occasionally need to move my sons boat trailer around but it's a pain to hook to my 1641. The jack will let the trailer down till it just touches the ball then I release the jack lock and let it rotate on the wheel to get the hitch down on the ball. This is sure to go bad at some point. I need to raise the ball about 3 or 4 inches to take some of the drama out of hooking it up. If I could find a piece of angle the right size I could make another hitch with the leg up. I can't be the first guy to run into this so probably smarter people than me have a figured out a simple solution.

You can flip that hitch plate upside down and raise it four, five inches. There's two sets of holes there.

Or you can back up onto two 2x4 or 2x6's

I dont think theres another set of holes but you could flip it up side down like what was said, use the 3 bolts as they would normally go, tighten them down and drill the other two.

Finely got around to flipping the hitch over this morning. I drilled 2 holes and bolted it back on. Already moved the trailer so I could mow under it. Thanks, it was a simple solution. Wish I had thought of it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
