One can never have enough pics of other setups for reference! Or manuals with info for that matter

Wasn't able to make the hydraulic shop this week due to schedule and weather. But just researching prices on chrome shafts online to me it appears it's going to be less expensive to just pickup welded cylinders from Surplus Center to replace the bad ones I have, just have to scare up some $$$'s for the purchase. I'm not worried about keeping it original just functional.

I have located a 149 with a bad engine (stuck rod) but complete otherwise that I negotiated a deal on just have to go get it, again waiting on weather and $$$'s. I've rebuilt more than a few Kohlers and prefer knowing what I have and rebuilding than buying a tractor with a suspect engine and have it go later.

I have a few pumps here but haven't dug them out yet to see if one will work, if not then Surplus Center for that. My loader came without a pump or control valves so I'll also need to pickup a control and I'd like a float position. A buddy has a control valve for me but not sure if it has float, due to lack of $$$'s . . . float might have to wait at this time free valves are more important and I can live without float for the time being

Feel free to post your loader pics you would like to share with me in here for everyone's reference to keep it somewhat in the same place for a wide frame install.

I'll be on a hold for a while due to lack of funding until I can sell my Bolens collection and redirect that money to my Cub projects

as i said i am sure this is overkill but i remember how much the hood moved at the dash lifting the 450 blower. so i added the front sections they just bolt in but should make it stiffer between where the rear frame ends and the front where the diagonals attach

cut the cross tube from the mainframe and found it wasnt welded very good you can see that the welds never penetrated the mainframe in a lot of places lol not sure if the camera does it justice

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
