you could use a push pull cable to control the rear hydro then you would not have to worry about the independent axle movement pushing them out of sync. Use u or cv joints in the rear drive line to allow rear axle movement.

what size lift cylinder do you plan on using on the dump? You can calculate the lift capacity based on cylinder size (or the other way around). Knowing what your pivot and cylinder joint points are. IIRC the su15 hydro stalls around 600 psi

had some time today to mount a tire to see how it looked on the 7x12 wheel.
Id like to have a wider rim but the tires look good on the rims.

PS- Is that a 2nd gen Firechicken I see on page 3? Mine's a black 78 and likely a lot rougher...

sorry no updates as of yet on the 1650. I had a few things to take care of before I start back on it. I will be taking out one axle, as the pump needs work and I dont want to put the money into it.
yes your seeing my 1979 1 0f 1530 built 4 speed trans am's. it'll be on desplay at the trans am nationals in Dayton OH , Aug 23,24,25th
I'll get back on the 1650 dump bed in the fall.

I'll be looking forward to the results of the 1650 build this fall. Things always seem to get busier in the summer, at least around here! Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to make it to Dayton. I'm getting married the following week. I'm a little jealous of your toys! Keep up the good work!
