The OP is talking about a diaphragm cam driven pump, not an electric one.

I would say that might even be tougher to pass oil through... With an electric pump once the oil is hot you might have a chance. I tried it with cold oil..

Put a styrofoam box around the sump with ice in it that will cool the oil , you can use the same method to cool beer

While you are at it.... Make sure you wrap the exhaust with thermal heat cloth and coil the fuel line in a can with ice..... Need all the HP you can get out of the K series to mow....
Don't forget to port and polish the valve train.... Lighten the piston skirt, mill the head... shave the flywheel, Really....? |

Add turboo incapuslaters to the valve rotors, transgender spark plugs,
and silly cone karbon wires. Only run 5 balls in the bearings instead of seven and make sure they are lubed with castro light weight earl. Oh and don fergit marvelous misterious oil additive in the muffler. |

This will surely keep the muffler bearing from wearing prematurely !

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
