Default Just in from Baltimore.....

...and boy is my 105 tired! I finally registered after getting soo much useful info and links from you guys. Currently on my third Cub (second IHCC) and wishing I had room for more. I found a homely 105 s/n 252122 at an auction this spring and have been administering the necessary TLC ever since. Lots of going over it and bringing up on services and fresh fluids and belts, tune up, etc. It's in VERY original condition, and very good condition so far, other than the tired K241AS, and the Hydro creep and leak. I am in the process of adding lights, and getting ready for winter use. My brother has a 125 that is also in very good shape with factory lights and rear 3 point. We have both sourced very nice QA42A's and will be putting them on next month after the leaves are done. He has a 42" deck while i have the 38" so I can fit through the shed door (this is why the 1641 had to go - but that's another post).
Anyway, that's the important stuff....pics and more info to follow!

105_Tom,
I ran out of room two Cubs ago. But in all fairness I had to get the 1961 OCC :biggrin2.gif: Looking forward to your posts.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
