Default Bombogenesis

No it is not a terrible Phil Collins song it was a cyclone that was a monster, it hit last night. The rain was going sideways, wind like you would not believe, and the noise. Anyway lost 2 trees and a bit of mess. Mess now all cleaned up, and one tree gone, other will get sliced and diced tomorrow.
Have never heard of this in all my years and do not want to hear of another?

By the way that you described it, it sounds like Godzilla was splish splashin' in your neck of the woods!! Certainly our friend from the land down under is alright and damage was somewhat minimal. Maybe your cub can find some new work on your clean up? I used my zero turn to play polo with some logs to get them 200 feet about 65 meters back to my burn pile, so maybe something similar for your clean up? I hope that was one and done for your experience. Great to hear that you are alright Ozcubowner!

A local mate has a big mulcher and most rubbish will be shredded
We do get our fair share of storms but none with such attitude as this one displayed

Do the Oz weather people, "embellish" weather data to sensationalize the actual statistics, as they do here ??

Roland . our Bureau of Meteorology are pretty straight about what is happening , they call a spade a spade
My only gripe with them is we are in a minor lock-down due to covid delta and they cannot give us nice sunny days coming into Spring

I fully understand the reverse seasons of the land down under.

Our "bureau of meterolgy" resembles the "Keystone Kops".

I rely on my Weather Ap on my Cell (Mobile) Phone. Accurate without the hype and BS.

For the most accurate weather forecast I use a Weather Rock , if its wet its raining and if its dry its not raining , you cannot get anything easier
ol George we love our weather , nice hot summers , cool winters , hang on your summers are hot and winters cool you just have them at the wrong time of year
I would complain to Al Gore and get them moved

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
