Default Narrow rims on a 1450?

I understand I can’t pull narrow rims from a narrow frame and put them on a wide wide, are there any options for the wide frame cubes?

They will go right on as long as your 1450 had the 3/4 spindles. If its a later machine with 1" spindles im not aware of any narrow wheels to fit

Think the bearings could be swapped out for larger ID to fit the 1” or?

I doubt if there is enough "meat" for that.
One would have to remove and install a larger hub center for that to work.
Just get a pair of 3/4" knuckles and use them.
Lots of those around, I'm sure!
Easy Peasy!!

You could also narrow your wheels. I have 1” spindles on my 129 and I narrowed my wheels to 4.25” by cutting a section out of the wheels and welding them back together. To me, the 16/6.5/8 Firestone 3-ribs looked too narrow on the 5.38” wide wheels. The wheel actually stuck out past the sidewall before.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
