While that is true about the tension, if the pulley is larger, it will cause the tension spring to compress more if it looks like the routing picture in post #3.
But I will say the mechanical DISADVANTAGE will make it slight.
Get a belt a couple of inches longer at tsc or hwd just to try, it it is the proper length then you know what to get and return the cheepie belt.

I've got my Haban in the garage waiting to replace some parts I could take a pic if you want to see what the spring and such looks like with the belt on. It wouldn't be until in morning though

Here are a few pics of the 374 I redid a few years ago. Let me know if you need any measurements.

Ive never owned a Haban or even seen one up close. Not to hi-jack thread but a question. Do these decks flow well enough to use with a bagger or are they typically just used as open discharge or mulch blades?

Oak, Looks like some mods to your 374 deck. Overall great job on the refurbish. I'd be interested in a source for the substitution rear wheels you are using for the 8" X 2" OE wheels. Did you have to modify the wheel mounts for a wider hub or did you find wheels that fit directly? TIA for any help.

Steve, I believe these are the wheels I used. IIRC, I had to grind a little off of each hub so it would fit. Sam posted these numbers back in 2015.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
