Is this the one that I should take the 1782 to?

What will I need to do to be able to go? Become a member?

At the last Mile Plow, they allowed CCC built machines. I assume they will this time. And yes you will need to join. I would think you would be able to join there.

They will let Cub Cadets plow the mile.
You must be a member Of International Harvester Collectors.
Cost to join is $15 to national organization and whatever a state organization charges.

You do not have to a member of a state group....just the national group.

Here is a link to International Harvester Collectors web site:
http://www.nationalihcollectors.com/index.html

Click on the Membership and Benefits icon If you are planning to just join the national group.

Click on the Chapters icon if you want to join a state/chapter organization. Most if not all state/chapter groups that have a website has a membership application on their websites. You can download, fill out application and mail it in.

Indiana has 2 great chapters- Chapter 7 and Chapter 33.

You will need to be a member of International Harvester Collectors if you are planning to bring a display to Red Power Round 2013 (www.rpru2013.com)
in Lima, Ohio.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
