Cool

Nice 100, you need only a few inches to access the shifter cover bolts so you need not to completely remove the trans from the frame. It will slide back 6" or so after you remove the pin from the driveshaft and unbolted it from the frame, unless you are going to restore it....do I see another restore thread???

That a sweet 100! Has a lot of goodies on it too! I would say the belt on the lift is one of the segmented ones you can make any length and can put on without pulling the engine. I've split plenty of NF cubs, it's really not that bad, at least it's not a hydro

Bob, it was overdue as I was having seller's remorse after parting with the 2084 last month. The 1450 purchase didn't quite fix it, but this 100 is easing the pain for now...

(i say the 169 is still the pick of the weekend - you did great!)
It definitely caught my attention, Tom. It's a 100. I know, you'll have fun with it.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
