Default Todays toy pickup...

I picked up these today, one cyclops bank, and you know what the other is.

Looks nice!
I've got 3 or 4 of the Cubs still in the boxes. Think I paid $20 each for them about 25 years ago. I have never seen a toy Cadet in person, I should dump the Cubs and get me some of those instead

I have both of those. I lost out on that cub on the fb auction page, then found one on ebay cheaper. I also bought the dodge truck and trailer set. I replaced the 3k series with a cyclops, just because.

Very nice Lewis!
There was a cyclops bank for sale on ebay the other day. In the box just like yours. Is that the one, or just coincidence?

Just a coin-incidence.
They will end up on there except the one I plan on keeping.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
