I played around a little more with the spool valve mount so I could mount it correctly. Sorry about the pictures, for some reason their kind of fuzzy .
Mounted the valve to the mounting plate, red rubber coated the the ends of the control levers, mounted both valve and levers in the test dummy and connected with a chain connector link A2050. I was able to use springs and washers on connector links to finish align the levers in the dash slot -or- I have to elongate the valve mounting holes to the right to help with alignment. The outside lever has to be bent in a little to clear the dash when the valve is in the float position but other wise looks pretty good for fit.

Thanks again guy's but I have to admit, for as many show's that I've been to I've only seen two 982, three lever hydraulic factory machines. I wished I'd would have taken a longer look to see how they did it ! (I can't believe Cubcrazy doesn't have one.......or does he ????????? hmmmmmm)

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
