Got a quote today for the entire hitch assembly shipped, about $470. Guess I got to figure out how much in parts it would be to fabricate the hitch and go from there. If possible, can someone give me the exact parts I would need from the website? Appreciate it.

You can look up the parts on the Cub parts site.

I meant from extreme motor works. Few different options. Not sure which ones I would need.

I think I figured out what I would need. Can probably build it for $250-300, give or take a little. Just trying to figure out if I should hold out until I find one for sale or build my own.
These are the parts I think I would need: 3 point lift arms-cc-03-006 3 point lift link kit- cc-34-002 Adjustable 3rd link cc-35-002 Draft pins cc-36-003 Lift valve. ( from eBay) Hoses (eBay) |

I figured I'd post an update. Not a ton of progress but I think I at least have a plan. I picked up a parts machine, pictured below, so hopefully I will have everything I need for the hydraulics. I haven't decided whether I'm going to make or buy the lift arms, but I have a buddy that has some 1/2" x 3" bar stock I can have. Would have to but an inch off, bend, and weld in ball ends. I believe I have the materials to make everything else. Just got to do some measuring and then may be able to start making some of the components.

When I made my lift arms, where I wanted the bends, I used the angle grinder to cut part way through the arm, made the bend in the vice and welded the crack shut. Worked out great with the bend right where I wanted it

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
