Default Why CL adds disappear

I post today a CL add from NY Albany for a rust free 1861 with a 52 deck, the asking price was only $450, the add disappear in a heart beat! Can I ask what happen? It's the second time I see that happen and I mist a 1872 last time, I always post any "Huge" deal or rare Cub I found for dirt cheap for anyone who can get them but now I wonder why.

CL Ads are deleted for two reasons. (A) They grow past 30 Days, or (B) the item is sold. Sometimes, CL Ad's are moved to the General Section when there is "chit-chat" developing. Other than that, that is all I know.

UPDATE: I looked for a 1861 in the Albany NY CL's Ads and found none. So......I am assuming it got sold.

More than likely, one of the mods (may have even been me as I deleted a bunch the other day) clicked on the link and the ad was gone. Anytime I find a dead link on a CL ad, I just delete it right then.

I deleted it because when I clicked on it, it said "Deleted by original poster" So that means it's probably been sold. You did nothing wrong. Hope this explains why it went away.

Gilles:

I am sure you have been around enough to know the Craigslist routine. Some things go on and on and on, and other items get sold in a snap of a finger.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
