Quick question on paint and color
Ive searched the site and looked up what others have used for paint. I'm not trying to do a resto, I need to paint some items and I think it would look better matching my XT1 rider. Where I'm at I'm limited to either the Lowes, HD, or Tractor Supply. I'm not opposed to just rolling the paint or brushing. Is there an off the shelf paint I could use? Anyone used something that had decent results.
Thanks for any info |

Here is the correct Cub Cadet Paint. It is available from any Cub Cadet Dealer, as well as the Big Box stores, and the internet.

This is what NOT to buy at Tractor supply.
Thin, runny, and long drying. The price sez it all. |

Good to know, I saw they have quarts of that which you can add hardener online. Was heading out Wednesday to see what available. Where I lived before was a family paint store , and they did machinery paint. That was some of the hardest paint finishes.
I'll steer clear the thin stuff. Thanks I do appreciate the help. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
