Default Tilling with the 1250

My son and I helped our neighor till his garden up yesterday, and that got me to thinking that I ought to do mine. My wife got out and snapped a few photos for me to post here. My son had so much fun that he wanted to make a tiller for his pedal tractor (was mine when I was a kid, and my older cousins' before that). He was happy as anything with his new tiller and pedaled all around outside and in our garage. Hope you enjoy. Now all we need is some some consistently warm weather and no frost and I'll be ready to plant. Jason

Thanks for the nice comments guys...my son and I had a lot of fun! It's always great spending time with him, especially if he's showing an interest in tractors!! Don't know how many times we have fixed his tractor while we were also working on mine...appears his battery was dead yesterday (wonder where he heard that before), so I taught him how to use jumper cables. Jason, thanks for the end caps again, you can see them in the photos and videos...they were great!!! Jason

No problem on the caps, its my pleasure!!! Thats funny....your sons tractor had a dead battery!!LOL
My youngest son wants to drive the tractor,When the weeds out back dry up Im going to let him pull the drag and see how he does! Id like to be able to drive through my garden as you do,mines fenced, keeps the crazy rabbits out,and the dogs.I have to drive around in circles and it tends to hill up or cut ruts in areas.Im going to have to put up a removable fence.
Thanks for the pics
Jason

Jason, once my garden is ready for planting I do put up a chicken wire fence. Rabbits really enjoyed my garden last year until I did that (yet the previous year I didn't have a fence up and they didn't touch anything). How old's your youngest? Jason

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
