I'd say towards the upper range of that John, when I picked it up, as the water tank was full. The guy I bought it from tried to drive it up the steel ramps on my tag trailer and about half way up he ended up going sideways...

How bout that Dresser, two steel rollers?? What kind of trailer?

Last fall I was able to get a fair amount of seat, I mean standing time on the roller. As always, it was a pleasure to operate.

After I completed my pre winter lane maintenance, I parked the machine for some needed repairs.

The international 282 diesel engine has a hydraulic pump mounted on the front end that is directly driven by the crankshaft. This pump runs a hydraulic motor which propels the machine forward and reverse through a large drive chain.

There's even a brake that is controlled by a hand lever up on the operators platform.

There's also a Twin Disc clutch on the back end of the engine which drives the vibratory function through a 12 foot triple v belt.

Thanks for the update and pics mister two ton. I swear I thought it was the end of the world the other day when I was in a warehouse and I didn’t know the asphalt guys were rolling the new parking lot and switched on the vibarating part of the roller oh my word. Felt like it was going to shatter all the windows in the place.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
