International cart?
When I got the 1210 about a month ago, it came with a cart. I know the 1210 was made by MTD, but was the cart made by International? IThere is an International logo on the back of the cart. Somebody on here commented on another thread about the tractor and the cart saying the cart was a #2 cart. Is that the model of the cart? How do you differentiate between cart models? I am attaching a pic of the tractor and cart. Sorry that I do not have any close ups of the cart yet.

May or not be a #2.
Looks really long from the picture angle. But the fenders say it's a #2 |

So I managed to get a few pics od the cart tonight while I was working. Didn't plan on using this cart tonight, but while moving some cement chunks with the other trailer I have, I put a nail through the brand new tire. So I broke out the cart. One thing that I did find interesting about the cart, was that it still has the original dealer sticker that shows the name of the cub cadet dealer, and where the cart was bought.

Yeah. My wife's grandfather bought it new back in the day. It still has the original paint with the original decals and even the dealership decal that shows where it was bought. It was bought down in Birdsboro PA and spent most of its life down in Reading PA and now resides in Western NY.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
