Default Full Man Cave

What happens in the cave stays in the cave. 24X30X10 post frame metal roof and sides w/insulation. 9X12 roll up door and steel entry door.Finished 6" thick concrete floor, installed a drain before pooring the floor.100 amp service,3 220v plugs for the welders and air compressor,15 110v plugs,2 ceiling fans,1 exhaust fan. 1 30"X16' work bench w/drawers/doors. Heat is a double barrel wood stove, propane and soon will add a waste oil burner and a 220v overhead heater above the bench. Fridge is next to the can crusher w/collector..."get it there, leave it here, stays in the CAVE!"...also a killer stereo sound w/speakers hung in each corner.Cave has alarm w/camera's in and outside. With tools,5 cubs,3600 Ford tractor and 4 wheeler it's full...wished I went with a 30X40 but thankful for what I have. I do plan to add a 16'X30' lean to in the back for the Ford and equipment.

Great shop T2!

Nice to see all o' those tractors snug and dry!

Don't lament not having built bigger from the start - you could have built 60' x 60' and still be eyeballin' putting on a lean-to on in the future.

I have a 36 x 48 with 1000 sf of storage on the second floor and I'm getting ready to build my second "storage" building to house all of the stuff I bring home!

looks like you have great lighting, what id you go with? i have gone completely with 8 ft fluorescents every where and found that i like the button bulbs best. the high output cold weather ones are very nice but i can not justify the price difference when the button bulbs warm up and put out good light after a few minutes.

my garage is almost a 24x 34 and would like another as big or larger.

Nice job on the shop!

How about a better look at all them Cubs? Especially that Brinly rear blade. Never seen a Brinly name brand blade. How's it work with the sleeve hitch? Nothing like listening to some good tunes while working on a Cub....and a fridge on the way? TOO COOL!

The fridge is on the way to the pee house, so you can get a can, pee a can and crush a can all in the same area.

Sounds well planned out to me.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
