Default DB Electrical discount for OCC members?

Thought about this after telling a OCC member about them.
I think it would be a good idea to speak to someone at DB Electrical. I use them a lot for things for airport equipment and now I have been ordering parts for cubs. Looks like some others here have been doing so as well with good results. Perhaps they would be willing to give some kind of discount to OCC members if they were advertised at top of page. Some online vendors can add a promo code to get discount when checking out.. Promo Code OCC?? If Roland is ok with it I think it can't hurt to ask them.

It's not all that far fetched. I have jobber discounts with all of my local vendors and many of my online vendors. When vendors see bulk sales opportunities and a chance to maintain customers from going to other sources they will often offer discounts. Maybe it would only be 5% but it would still be better than full price.

Good idea. Miller Tire gives the crew over at WFM a 5% discount. It wouldn't hurt to ask.

So, I just got off the phone with DB Electrical. They are interested in some sort of collaboration with OCC! I am awaiting a call back after they discuss to see what they can offer. With Roland's blessing I will either continue to pursue this or pass the torch to him at any time. Let me know!

I use stuff from DB electrical all the time.. never had any issue with quality or service! They already have very reasonable prices but I'll take a discount if you can work something out. Keep us posted!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
