Any 100 I've seen either didn't have one, or if it was nice had the other one. Or maybe I just wasn't paying close enough attention..... but I never saw that one. I believe you guys. Just a new one for me. Did any of the 70'S have it? Again, all the 70's I've seen had the one on the left. |

I also heard the early 100 used the nut and later ones used a center cap.

I know right. Guess I just don't know the 70/100 in and outs. I'm not all that attracted to them, maybe that's why I never paid attention.

Weather here is hot and humid. Not terrible.... but more humid than it has been. Summer will probably be over soon. We got 3 inches of rain not long ago, but it's still kind of dry. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
